In recent years, a very thin hairline crack has developed along the middle of the neck. It was manufactured by Hagström in collaboration with Ampeg. I still have the original pick guard and pickups, but the original decals, which were already very worn, are gone. The Hagström Swede Patch 2000 is the first guitar/synthesizer hybrid. On the photo, you can see the battery peeking out. I have mounted a variety of hum-buckers and also a small pre-amp, which surprisingly still works fine. Shortly after buying her, I made a new pick guard out of roofing zinc. I should be grateful if you could let me know the approximate year of production. Based on the batch number of 822 I assume this guitar was built in the early 1970's. ![]() ![]() I own a Hagstrom Electric guitar with serial number 822169 which I bought second hand somewhere around 1979 and which I have played ever since.
